Jon Hopkins – We Disappear [Domino Records RUG 595D] (2014)

After publishing last year’s excellent album ‘Immunity’ (Domino Records) UK producer Jon Hopkins, on Monday June 30 release a new EP, gets the track that opened the album, ‘We Disappear’ to include a re-work on it, with the collaboration of vocalist Lulu James, whom he met in the Unknown Festival festival in Croatia, and back to London together in the studio for Lulu put his voice to the composition of Jon, a more atmospheric interpretation , melodic and deep, excellent version, and to complete the single, and returning the favor of Jon Hopkins remixing Moderat, now Moderat (Modeselektor & Apparat) who remixed the track ‘Abandon Window’ converting the remix into a musical beauty almost 7 minutes, wonderful remix that traps us in its sound, with a crescendo that breaks remix medium to hear the piano and return to an epic crescendo. And as a bonus track on the digital edition, the instrumental version of ‘We Disappear’ is included.
