VA – Summer Split 2 [Correspondant CORRESPONDANT29] (2014)

We’re in the middle of the summer, and as every summer, the excellent label run by Jennifer Cardini, Correspondant, publishes its expected Summer Split EP, this time five new and exclusive tracks from 5 different producers around the world, 5 excellent tracks with that characteristic sound of the label, an EP that opens with one of the national producers more on-fire, from Barcelona Undo aka Gabriel Berlanga and presents his ‘3’9º En La Escala Richter’ a techno with a slow tempo, dark, hypnotic, with a precise synthesizers, distorted sounds, killer track; from Sweden with producer Paresse aka Ivan Berggren and his ‘Phantoms Are Waltzing’, with a slow and steady rhythm, very melodic and magical; from France with the producer Offset and the track ‘Retro Futur’ with some magical synthesizers and soft and relaxed arrangements and sensual voices, a track very summer and hypnotic, ideal for sunsets; from Mexico, the producer of Iñigo Vontier presents his ‘Motor’ with a sound more electro, raw, dark and mysterious voices, for the dancefloor; and completing the EP from Italy with producer Brioski with the collaboration of Andrea Noce to sing the track ‘Sunday Morning’, with a sound more disco / pop, cool guitars and Brioski usual analog synthesizers. Highly recommended EP, Correspondant, a label that keeps its own personality, its own sound, excellent label.
