Hi Kallaghan, how are you today?

Hi there! I’m doing great, thanks for asking.

Can you share with us your plans for the summer?

This summer is shaping up to be exciting. I’ll be performing at Electric Forest, The Boat Los Angeles, and ED SEA BAHAMAS, which I’m really looking forward to. In addition to these shows, I’ll be hitting various clubs around Miami, where I now spend a significant part of my time.

Should fans expect more music soon?

Absolutely! I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be releasing ‘Dance Again’ at the end of July on STNS (Insomniac Music Group). It’s my first Techno single on a major label, and I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Joe Wiseman on this project. The track is a fusion of my electronic roots with a fresh twist, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.

Where are you performing over the upcoming months? Are you taking to any new stages this summer?

Besides Electric Forest, The Boat Los Angeles, and ED SEA BAHAMAS, I’ll be playing at several clubs in Miami. I’m also exploring new stages and venues to bring my music to new audiences and create memorable experiences throughout the summer.

Having made the move to Miami from Los Angeles, how would you say the music scene differs between the two cities? Have you noticed anything different about the musical culture in Miami compared to Los Angeles?

Los Angeles is undeniably a hub for major labels and industry players, whereas Miami offers a more relaxed and vibrant musical atmosphere. There’s a palpable sense of fun and less formality here, which I find refreshing. Despite the move, I still frequent Los Angeles regularly to nurture my businesses and network, as it remains an integral part of my career development. I still work on Falling In Reverse and a bunch of Rock artists there.

What have you been listening to as we enter the summer? Have you discovered any new artists?

Lately, I’ve been enjoying a mix of Will Sparks for his energetic beats, Kendrick Lamar for his lyrical prowess, and Falling In Reverse for their genre-bending approach. I’m always on the lookout for fresh talent and innovative sounds that inspire my own productions.

Are you attending any events or festivals this summer, as an audience member or performer?

Aside from performing, I’m looking forward to attending Electric Forest and ED SEA to soak in the festival vibes and connect with fellow music enthusiasts. It’s a great opportunity to recharge creatively and enjoy the diverse range of artists on display.

What are your plans outside of music? What do you like to do to relax during the summer?

Outside of music, I love escaping to the Florida Keys, particularly Islamorada—it’s a serene retreat and one of my favourite places on earth. Whether it’s fishing, diving, or simply unwinding by the beach, it’s my go-to spot to recharge and find inspiration.

Would you say that the summer months and the energy that the season fosters have any impact on the sound or approach of your productions? If so, how?

Interestingly, the summer energy fuels my creativity to go harder and explore new dimensions in my productions. I find myself letting my Rock roots shine even more, blending them with electronic elements to create something unique and memorable. It’s about capturing the vibrant energy of the season and infusing it into my music.

Can you share what you are most looking forward to as we look ahead to your summer and the rest of the year?

I’m most excited about the release of ‘Dance Again’ and sharing it with my fans. This track represents a significant evolution in my sound and marks a milestone in my career. I’m also eager to continue pushing boundaries in my performances, expanding my label, Grail Records, and exploring new opportunities to collaborate and innovate within the music industry.
