Andrey Sirotkin makes a remarkable debut on THISBE Recordings with the single «Untouchable,» a slow techno track featuring synthesizers and an electric 80s vibe that is sure to captivate listeners from start to finish.
The Kyiv-based producer, known for his outstanding analog techno productions released on labels such as Rune Records, Mystictrax, and his own Vyrii Records, returns with an original piece that strikes the perfect emotional balance between melancholy and euphoria.
Initially created as an instrumental track, its atmospheric nature called for an additional melodic vocal layer, and that’s where Pyrame comes in. «Untouchable» features the Berlin-based lyricist and vocalist, who delivers a cautionary message about how humanity has been reduced to a mere product in modern society, a crippled unit in a world driven by statistics where everything is measured and quantified.
Through «Untouchable,» Pyrame raises awareness about the erosion of our freedom, privacy, and impartiality. It’s a haunting message, yet with the hope that one day, somehow, we will find a way out.
To bring different genre perspectives to «Untouchable,» the EP is rounded out with a deep techno remix by Joseph S Joyce, a Caribbean rework by A-Tweed & Oltrefuturo, which also became a dub version, and an electro mix by Acid Washed.
“Untouchable” is set to be released on Thursday, September 5, 2024, in a limited edition vinyl and digital format through THISBE Recordings.
