All Star Mexico [Correspondant CORRESPONDANT31] (2014)


A European label again to look towards Mexico, the label of Correspondant (Jennifer Cardini), one of the European label that has most is setting in the Mexican electronic scene, today publishes a new EP compiled with 6 Mexican producers and that personal way of Mexicans producers understand electronic music and techno in particular, opening the EP with the Argentine originen and residing in Mexico of Thomass Jackson and his ‘Bad Chat’ with its hypnotic rhythms and dark, raw and forceful; Mijo aka La Royale aka Alec Sander, with his ‘Working Late’ to bring us to the center of the dance floor with his catchy rhythm and shooting cosmic lasers; Eddie Mercury with ‘Rim Shot Cow’ with more lysergic touches and repetitive beats; a new composition of the alter ego of Bufi, Theus Mago and his ‘Ritmo Extraterrestre’, and in those excellent 7 minutes of travel to the Mexican galaxies; repeating in the label, Iñigo Vontier (Salon Acapulco) with his ‘Lunatico’, dark, blunt bassline, and cosmic touches, almost like a horror film; and completing the EP with Jerønimo and his ‘Delusion’, dark, hypnotic, leads to mental trance states.
