An interview with Andrew

Andrew begins his independent work. This uniquely inspired musician, who has made a name for himself through a handful of tasty songs.

His music is unclassifiable, but it has no rival. Close your eyes and let the sensations flow.

When and how did you become interested in electronic music?

It happened way back. Can’t tell u an exact year or moment. But I always loved it. For me it’s like modern classical music. It can get to you in so many ways. I love to just close my eyes and let the music take me on a ride.

How has the COVID situation affected your work?

Not very much actually. I can’t meet with so many people, but that has forced me to take new ways and a lot of speartime has given me a lot of time to make music. And I got a lot in store so can’t wait to share more with you guys.

“Has your last work been an inspiration for this confinement? How has the Covid and this situation affected your work?

My music is not very much influenced by the current situation. For me it’s more been that one thing that’s gonna be the same. Just making music and being creative makes the time fly.

How do you rate the career you have had and what were the reasons that led you to start it?

I`m just starting so not much to rate. I got everything in front of me and I am really looking forward to the journey. Music production has been growing on me for a while and at one point you just have to go all or nothing. And this is what I wanna do. So I`m gonna do everything I can to be better and enjoy the ride at the same time.

What was your criteria when making this track?

Actually, none. I like to start with a clean sheet and just let the process do it`s part. I think that’s when real magic can happen. You just let your fantasy go crazy.

Could you recommend a set that you are especially proud of and that we can watch on your Soundcloud or on YouTube?

I’m quite the rookie so I haven’t had a real live show yet. But all my music is out on Youtube and Soundcloud as well as Spotify. So go check that out! The Corona situation hasn’t been good for live sets or shows either so.

What can you tell us about the panorama of your city? What would you improve?

I like the city I live in very well actually. Kristiansand in southern Norway. Haven`t been thinking about that like ever. So yeah, I think it`s good just the way it is.

Finally, what can you tell us about your present and future projects?

I can say that I have a lot to come. Hopefully 2 songs before the summer and more to come after that. Really looking forward to getting more music out there. Connect with more people and grow, both as an artist and person. It’s exciting!
