Hi, thank you for answering our questions. I’d like to start by asking you about your technical approach to creating music. What gear do you normally wear?
– I usually use a set of vst plugins. All process of production i do on my laptop. In short: laptop, midi keyboard, sound card and studio monitors, thats all i need.
It’s very convenient for me, I can record music anywhere.
What aspects does the equipment you use that you like bring to your production?
– As I said, I work mainly with software, so I pay attention to many little things such as EQ, distortion, delay, saturation, filters, chorus phaser, or some another effect. It is very important to find the right sound with all of this in order to get a good sound. To future use it in patterns.
Sometimes I need to listen to the same synthesizer pattern or sequencer for several hours in headphones, or listen only monitors at full volume in order to hear what i want hear.
Your EP is having a very good impact. What were you inspired by to create it? How do you turn your inspiration into a mechanically produced track?
– Answering the first question, I want to say that I recorded all these tracks at different times. And I was influenced by various events of the time when I did it. I am very often inspired by my life experiences and the sound of the old school tracks that I regularly listen to and play. I think it was mainly influenced, definitely yes!
About the second question, I just try to do the same as in my head, technically, if I succeed, then it worked
How has your sound evolved since you started?
– I think the sound remained the same Acid and Techno, as before, maybe it became more rhythmic and hard.
I feel like the underground scene will continue to persist. Do you think we can go back to “normal” events and festivals?
– I also believe in this, and I really hope that it will be, but no one knows for sure how it will actually be. I think this will be a new stage, and its even more exciting, “next level”. In a good way or in a bad way, i dont know.
How is your sound evolving? What artists and genres do you enjoy mixing right now?
– As I said earlier, I prefer the old school traditional Acid and Techno, the more I learn this, the more my sound evolves. I think this is very important to me. This allows you to abstract and do something of your own in the final product. And of course, regular practice in technical terms.
