An interview with Ector Nina

0

Ector Nina begins his independent work. This uniquely inspired musician, who has made a name for himself through a handful of tasty songs.

His music is unclassifiable, but it has no rival. Close your eyes and let the sensations flow.

When and how did you get your interest in electronic music?
Electronic music was the first sound I became passionate about.
I spent all the weekends of my life inside clubs, and this has been an incredible practice for me.
I know various genres, I respect all artists regardless, I love music in general.

What was your criterion when producing your last EP in Elesun?

I don’t have a precise criterion, Ayeyo was the last release on Elesun, it was born from a collaboration with my friend Benny Blanco, later came the remix by Federico Grazzini, an artist I respect very much.

Could you recommend a set that you are especially proud of, and that we can see on your Soundcloud or on YouTube?

A set that I really like is the one recorded at the Rocca of the Polvese island, on the Trasimeno lake. A fantastic location.

Finally, what can you tell us about your present and future projects?
During this period I’m producing a lot, I have several releases in the pipeline, the next will be a remix for Moko which will be released on Ozono Records, then an Ep on Major Underground and a release on the legendary Chicago label Trax .
I am always active on events organization, and I am recharging the batteries to start again, stronger than before.
