In November last year was born the imprint of Crimes of the Future by the hand of two good friends of Mr. Andrew Weatherall, such as Scott Fraser and Timothy J. Fairplay, fellow sufferers in Alfos legendary parties .
With two excellent references on the market , the first signed by Antoine Rouge and its splendid “Spook Juke EP” and the second by the hand of Elizabeth Merrit Jefferson and the 12″ ‘Quetzalcoatl’, the level of quality sound Crimes of the future began with a very high level. Now, George Thompson holstered under his aka Black Merlin arrives to present the third reference on English label with the firm intention to maintain that level of quality and even surpass its predecessors by far, thanks to this Amazing Exotics Ep which will be released June 9 on vinyl .
The ep opens “Full Denim Jacket” , a library of sounds characteristic productions of the early nineties. Equipped with a very strong tempo and rhythms from base metal own of ebm, the track follows a super effective , perfect for any dance floor worth its salt forcefulness.
” Amazing Exotics ” change log and presents a cutting down of bpms , where records go into slow- mo dark tints game.
Finally, the remix of ” Amazing Exotics ” billing Scott Fraser and Timothy J. Fairplay in Adrian Tripod mode maintains the ominous line of the original giving it a more forceful and looking boldly to the dancefloor .
