Club Bizarre – Empoté EP [Leonizer Records] (2015)

This end of the year for the duo from Metz (France) of Club Bizarre, formed Binda and Sam Berdah, is a very productive, a month ago the duo signed an excellent EP for the Barcelona imprint of Factor City Records (run by Undo), and now comes another new EP, ‘Empoté EP’ for the french label of Leonizer Records, label founded and managed since 2005 by Leonard de Leonard, and that at the end of the 2013 the duo of Club Bizarre signed an excellent remix for the duo of Delect (Leonard Leonard & Chris de Luca, ex-Funkstörung), and 2 years after their arrival on the label, now Club Bizarre have their own EP on the label, a duo that debuted in 2013 in the label of Days Of Being Wild with ‘La Mort Du Petit Cheval EP’ and last year on the same label with ‘ Bogota/Bazzanbasel EP’, in addition to deliver very good remixes for different artists on different labels and include some of their tracks in compiled for labels as Clouded Vision Recordings, Play Pal Music, Relish Recordings or Blindetonation, and now have a new track called ‘Empoté’ for Leonizer Records, a cut that is accompanied by 4 remixes, 2 remixes are signed by the duo from Toronto of Jokers Of the Scene, formed by Chris Macintyre and Linus Booth, who debuted in 2008 in the label Fool’s Gold Records, label in which published a long list of EPs, and last year published their debut album for the label of Throne Of Blood; from Lille (France), another duo is responsible for signing another remix, Monoblok & Pslktr (Yann Aubertot and Benoît Mascot), a usual duo in Meant Records; and another French duo is responsible for the latest remix of the EP, the collaboration between the artists of Humantronic and Leonard de Leonard, a collaboration that began this year and have already released EPs for labels of Manakacha and Leonizar Records.

By opening this new reference on Leonizer Records with the original version of ‘Empoté’ by Club Bizarre, a cut of with more than 8 minutes, 8 minutes of slow combustion, hypnotic effects, some percussion kicking to the cut together with a few galactic synths to get into Club Bizarre universe, where the duo will develop spatial and melodic melodies, soundscapes are composing weaving layers with the analogues, spirals of sound that captivate us and make vibrate and enjoy with the progression and development of the track.

For the remixes, the Jokers Of the Scene duo offer 2 brilliant remixes, the first called ‘Remix’ with10 minutes in which the feeling of hypnotism increases, the initial rate is growing, on the remix are joining layers in key techno, electronic percussions are incisive, and reaches the explosion to go to develop a few cosmic, galactic synthesizers, to float in the space without moving from the center of the dance floor of the club; the second remix called ‘Slow Export’, the duo presents 11 minutes of remix, slowing the remix, everything happens more slowly, the cosmic feeling increases, a more magical and dreamy remix, let’s fly away.

The duo of Monoblok & Pslktr offer a remix in which raise the tempo of the original, the feeling sci-fi is present from the beginning of the remix, electronic beats go managing the remix into hyperspace, and then take ownership of hypnotic, dark and mysterious rhythms. Meanwhile, the another French duo of Humantronic & Leonard de Leonard, offer a deeper remix, synthesizers are heartbeat, to then develop its most raw and wild side in the middle of the cosmic melodies.
