Last month debuted the new project of daWad & Mokic, 2 producers from Marseille who joined to work together, 2 producers also are owners of their own record labels, daWad and his label of IRM Recordings and Mokic with his label of The Exquisite Pain Recordings, and that for this new project have decided to publish their compositions in others labels, so the debut of the duo arrived last month in the British label of Nein Records, a debut with 2 original compositions and remixes from Teniente Castillo, The Two Mamarrachos and Dynamicron; and for the second EP from the new duo of daWad & Mokic do it on the British label run by Matt Walsh of Clouded Vision Recordings, an EP in which the duo has 2 new compositions which are complemented with 2 remixes, first remix signed from UK with Hardway Bros aka Sean Johnston, partner together with Andrew Weatherall of ALFOS (A Love From Outer Space) , and the second remix, comes from Mexico with the collaboration of producers Mijo aka La Royale aka Yesco aka Alec Sander (Electrique Music) with Max Jones.

This new reference in the Clouded Vision Recordings, the number 24, by daWad & Mokic opens with ‘Spooks’ and hypnotic, dark and mysterious 6 minutes, with strange percussion and noise, slow tempo, touches of acid, guitars and mysterious voices that invite us to enter into the dark world of daWad & Mokic; a darkness that increases with the 7 minutes of ‘Purple’, becomes more dense and thick, with the acid light amid the darkness, and a more melodic parts which make it more epic atmosphere, excellent track.

The remixes to daWad & Mokic are included 2 remixes for the track of ‘Spooks’, the first with Hardway Bros aka Sean Johnston, raising the tempo of the track, extending it to more than 7 minutes, with industrial beats, touches of EBM and a cosmic tirp through the darkness of the universe, killer remix; for the other part, the Mexican collaboration of Mijo & Max Jones, rise somewhat more the tempo, and make it sound more raw and hard-hitting of Mexican productions.
