For new reference on the British imprint of Nein Records (run by Tronik Youth) recovers one cuts the first compiled of the label ‘Nein Oh Nein’ of last June, in particular the track signed by the multi-instrumentalist, producer and owner of the label of Tici Taci, the veteran artist of Duncan Gray, by signing this way his second EP for Nein Records, after the published last January the ‘I Can’ t Stand Lorraine EP’ and now becomes ‘Churn Again EP’, the third followed EP by this excellent artist out of his own label, a new EP that is accompanied with 3 remixes, the first signed by the producer with origin in Tel Aviv and currently resident in Berlin of Moscoman, an artist who since his debut for the label I’m A Cliche in 2013 is gaining a greater reputation with his sound; the second remix comes signed by French producer of Markus Gibb, with differents EPs for labels such as Rock To The Beat Records, Clouded Vision Recordings, Fruncht or Magic Feet Recordings among others, and the last one, from London with the duo of Shift Work, who debut last year by the hands of the prestigious imprint of Optimo Music with their analog and hypnotic sound.
The second EP by Duncan Gray for Nein Records opens with the original mix of ‘Churn Again’, a fusion of electronic beats with traditional instruments, a bass and drums that develop a hypnotic and cosmic rhythm, psychedelic guitars, an amazing melancholic trip through the galaxies.
The first remix comes signed by Moscoman, another wonder from this producer, raising the tempo of the remix, printing a few atmospheres more cosmic, space and adding a few vocal parts in the final part of the remix, a voices in the style of the classic Manchester, brilliant remix. The second remix, signed by Markus Gibb, slightly raising the tempo of the remix and emphasizing the cosmic and trippy elements from the original, with a dark and raw sound. Finally, with the duo of Shift Work, with a remix of less than 4 minutes in which re-work completely cut, with a raw and forceful sound, repetition of elements and a pulsating rhythm.
