Erol Alkan – Especialista en Re-Work

Erol Alkan (aka DISCO 3000, Kurtis Rush, Mustapha 3000) este inglés de origen turco, y uno de los pioneros en el Dj y mashups, lleva desde el 93, y fundando su propio local en el 95 ‘Going Underground’ (que después se pasó a llamar ‘Trash’) y en el 2007 fundo su propio sello ‘Phantasy Sound’, gran colaborar de Boys Noize para realizar temazos, productor de algunos discos (Mystery Jets, Late Of The Pier,…), especialista en remezclas (con una lista interminable) y gran fanatico y especialista en ‘reworkear’ temas, ir un poco más allá del simple remix, acaba de publicar el rework para el grupo australiano Tame Impala, un excelente trabajo.
Y como bonus un pequeño repaso a otros ‘reworks’ que ha realizado para artistas tan diferentes como Chilly Gonzales, Hot Chip, Justice, Fan Death, Scissor Sisters, Interpol, Chemical Brothers,….
