HVOB – Tender Skin/The Anxiety To Please EP [Stil Vor Talent] (2015)

The duo from Vienna of HVOB (Her Voice Over Boys), formed by Anna Müller and Paul Wallner, at the end of the 2012 debuted as one of the big bets and discoveries by the German imprint of Stil Vor Talent, founded in 2005 by Dj and producer Oliver Koletzki, and in March 2013, they published their debut album, an album with a very great acceptance by public and critics, and in April of the 2015 published their second album ‘Trialog’, an album that came preceded by 2 singles, 2 singles which included remixes of renowned producers such as Gui Boratto, Acid Pauli, Pillow Talk, or The Field, and now comes the third single from that same album, third and last single, an EP which included the cuts of ‘Tender Skin’ and ‘The Anxiety To Please’ and which are again included 2 remixes of 2 renowned producers, first with the italian producer and resident between Berlin and Miami of Dj Tennis aka Manfredi Romano, founder of the prestigious label of Life and Death; and on the other hand, from UK with the veteran producer of Scuba aka Paul Rose, founder of another respected label as it is Hotflush Recordings.

This third and final EP taken from the album ‘Trialog’ of the duo of HVOB on Stil Vor Talent opens with the original mix of ‘Tender Skin’, with dark melodies, the creation of musical layers impregnated with feelings and the voice of Anna Müller that gives these atmospheres of melancholy, this time accompanied by a vigorous and forceful bassline, a cut that is accompanied by Dj Tennis remix, leading the remix to 9 minutes, with a more nervous pace, voices with echoes and loops, and with an atmosphere full of mystery and darkness, with a development that remix is becoming a second part which makes it more magical and dreamy.

The second original cut by HVOB, ‘The Anxiety To Please’, a more melancholy composition, with the addition of chords on piano and the always wonderful voice of Anna describing those dark landscapes, musical sensitivity, beautiful composition that is accompanying by the remix from Scuba, leading the remix to 7 minutes with a few sounds more techno, and a pace more oriented to the sound of club, a dark and hypnotic remix.
