Jacques Renault – Silver Machines EP [Public Release Recordings] (2015)

The DJ and producer originally from Washington, D.C. and resident in Brooklyn, Jacques Renault, with long and respected musical career since 2008 and releases on labels as Rvng Intl., Hand Of God, On The Prowl Party Breaks, Gomma or Let’s Play House (label founded and maneged by Jacques Renault with Nik Mercer from 2009), and this last September released his debut album ‘Zentrum’ on his label of Let’s Play House, an album in which participated a long list of guest artists, and now returns to the imprint from San Francisco of Public Release Recordings, founded and managed by Eug aka Eugene Whang from 2009, and where he releases an EP in 2010, ‘The Tuesday EP’, label that with this new installment of Jacques Renault reaches the reference #8, a label which have already left his signature artists as Tim Sweeney, 40 Thieves, Mike Simonetti or Woolfy among others, and now Jacques Renault return with this double single, 2 new and intense cuts that are complemented with 2 remixes, first with the London duo of Velvet Season & The Hearts Of Gold, consisting of Gerry Rooney (with DJ Harvey who are founders of the label Black Cock Records) and Joel Martin (who along with Matt Edwards are Quiet Village), a duo that also owns their own label of Lucky Hole Records; and the second remix with the Japanese duo of Force Of Nature, formed by producers KZA and DJ Kent, and with a long history, both duo and solo projects; all with a design of artwork by visual artist of Takeshi Murata.

Opening the second EP of Jacques Renault for Public Release Recordings with ‘Silver Machines’, with 5 minutes of frenetic, devilish, to put on-fire the dancefloor, energetic and powerful bassline, disco lasers fired by synthesizers and small samples vocals to enjoy listening to the cut on the club, accompanying this greta track with remix from the duo of Velvet Season & The Hearts Of Gold, and excellent and brilliant remix signing this great duo, bringing the cut to 9 minutes with a classic bassline that makes us dance, synthesizers that make fly our imagination a delicious and dark and hypnotic rhythm, and wonderful trip to feel free and happy, killer remix.

On the other hand, Jacques Renault presents ‘Fromage à Trois’, another bright cut, with six great minutes, with percussion to start the track, and some synthesizers with constant crescendos, taking off from the ground to throw into space, hypnotic dance over the stars; track that is complementet with the remix from the duo of Force of Nature, another brilliant remix of this recommended EP, with more than 7 minutes, with flowing tropical and fresh percussions, hypnotic rhythms to create a fun atmosphere of good cheer.
