The Catalan-French formation of Gipsy Family, based in the idyllic Cala Llevado (Tossa de Mar) in the Costa Brava returns to collaborate with the New York artist and resident in London of Linda Lamb, over these past years Gipsy Family have been publishing their compositions in labels like Inlab Recordings, Timid Records, Qubiq Records or on their own Colina Records, featuring a special musical sensitivity, proposing a mental trip, almost cinematic trips that make the imagination fly away, in 2013 will start to work with the veteran Linda Lamb, who at the beginning of the 2000s, collaborated with Vitalic and was part of band of The Silures, and is currently the bassist for the reformed Immaculate Fools, and next a Gipsy Family have signed excellent collaborations on Timid Records, Inlab Recordings or Colina Records, and now with ‘Ground (Punkrocked) EP’ arrive to the French label of Police Records, a new song which shows us his side more rock, more punk, a cut that is accompanied by remixes from Carretta & Workerpoor, the veteran dj and producer of David Carretta, one of the founders of the label Space Factory with a regular contributor to, the French producer of Workerpoor; another French producer, Mathieu Zub aka Museum, musician from Blackstrobe band, and from 2011 with his solo project of Museum, and which already has published EPs on Black Strobe Records and Space Factory; from Lyon with one of the new and young producers, GEDEØN; and finally with the French duo of Skylab.

By opening this new EP of Linda Lamb & Gipsy Family for Police Records with the original version of ‘Ground (Punkrocked), a cut to hit drums and chords of guitar with brilliant voice of Linda Lamb, all the aroma of the punk, heartbreaking voice, ‘WE BECAME ONE’, brilliant song.

For remixes, first with Carretta & Workerpoor, who presents a forceful and energetic remix, sound more techno, dark, noise and development as if of a steamroller it arrasase with the dance floor. For his part, Museum, offers us almost 7 minutes of epic remix, full of mystery and darkness, with synthesizers launching lasers onto the dance floor, dancing in the outer space, and the voice of Linda track floating between melodies. Raw, hard-hitting sound that presents GEDEØN with his remix, direct to the club. And finally with Skylab and a remix of little more than 3 minutes with an orientation towards the Bass.
