Overwhelming is the experience that Melroman accumulates in the world of electronic music and so is his new album: “For The Sun” (Same Difference Music). Although Melroman has gone through various stages within his creative process, encompassing a multitude of genres, in “For The Sun” manages to display an evolved, refined and enhanced sound, which consolidates the career of a producer who is not without notable virtues, presented with such unique and fresh nuances, which manage to shape unique pieces, as enjoyable in a club as at home.
The album, recorded last spring / summer where he recorded and captured various ideas through his smarthphone and Ipad, and processed them later this year, resulting in a unique, unique and light-filled album.
There is something in these tracks that looks to the past without losing sight of the present, managing to resurface a very particular sound. From the energetic “Eliquis”, through the enveloping “Love Is Growing”, or the powerful “Night Falls”, to the captivating and magical “8AM”, “Traveling” or “Salty Air”. All of these tracks come together, until they combine an album as experimental as it is intense and addictive, which takes possession of oneself as a sweet poison, while it transports us progressively, as few producers with determined fluency they are ready to do, condensing two ideas that it seemed that we were no longer going to recover: future and permanence.
