Mathias Modica aka Munk, co-founder of the label Gomma, is responsible for signing the last reference of the Correspondant label. “Wurlitzer Wank” is the title of the Ep and the first collaboration between the German producer and the imprint of Correspondant run by Jennifer Cardini. The work contains two original cuts and a remix from the producer of Secret Circuit.

Mathias is one of the leading figures in the German electronic scene. Even Pitchfork has declared his rubber label as one of the three most influential German labels within the electronic dance scene. In the label was published artists of great talent as Headman, Trentemøller, WhomadeWho, Rodion, Tomboy or the same Munk.

The sub-label of Gomma is also important, Toy Tonics focuses on the new house music and again on the electronic dance music with futuristic touches. Sacco-Vanzetti Duo, Hard Ton, Moon Runner or Luke Solomon among many other artists have been published on the German sub-label.

The sound of a percussion serves to introduce ourselves “The Wurlitzer Wank”, a cut of raw and dirty, dance electronica, with a few eye-catching synthetic arpeggios, a decadent melody and an acid spiral that wraps around the track until the end.

“The Bösus Bounce” has that characteristic deep line in the productions of the 1990s within that same style. With touches of electro funk more detronian, the cut operates within a slow tempo and nothing cheerful shades.

Finally we find the remix made by American producer of Secret Circuit of the same “The Bösus Bounce”, injecting one dose of more four by four and dancefloor to the track and giving more psychedelic sound elements adorned by very friendly acidic brushstrokes.
