Museum – Das Boot EP [Space Factory] (2015)

Mathieu Zub is known for being the guitarist and keyboards from Black Strobe, formation of which it forms part since 2007, and also has his own project alone, Museum, which debuted in the BlackStrobe Records label with an excellent EP 3 years ago, and now comes his second EP, ‘Das Boot’, on this occasion for the French label of Space Factory (David Carretta & Pascal Bourdette) with 3 new compositions and 3 remixes, opening this new EP with ‘Departure’, 9 minutes of dark sounds, low tempo, and very cinematic and hypnotic atmospheres, with influences from techno and industrial, more raw and forceful with the 7 minutes of ‘Like A Ghost’, with a higher tempo, and a furious pace, more oriented to the club, and ‘The Endless Odyssey’, halfway between the 2 previous tracks, with more mystery and cosmic and epic atmospheres; and completing the EP with 3 remixes, 2 for the track ‘Like A Ghost’, the first with the veteran and excellent artist of Arnaud Rebotini, with a stronger remix, somewhat dirty and raw, and the second with Acid Washed, somewhat lowering the tempo of the track, and a more cosmic and hypnotic remix, and completing the EP with the remix for ‘Departure’ from Workerpoor, handraising the tempo of the track, and a forceful and more mysterious rhythm.
