[New] Boo Williams/Jordan Fields – Split EP [Axe On Wax Records] (2016)

The British imprint of Axe On Wax Records, founded in London 2014, starts the 2016 with the launch of the sixth reference on the label, with a Split EP between 2 legendary artists from Chicago, 2 veterans with more than 20 years each of them in the music scene, with Boo Williams on the one hand and on the other with Jordan Fields, with an original cut each of them which is complemented with a remix for each of the cuts with 2 artists, from Detroit with Andres and the italian of Steve Murphy, an exclusive release on vinyl, and that sure will increase reputation and this young imprint.

On side A of this new 12″ on Axe On Wax Records is for Boo Williams who presents ‘Accellerate’, a brilliant cut with all the ingredients of the classic Chicago House, sweet and delicate melodies, magical atmospheres, 7 minutes from a great and clean production to daydream, a cut that is accompanied by Andres remix, emphasising the magical original melodies, with a strong rhythmic section, and a few more sensual touches.

In the Side B the guest is Jordan Fields with ‘I Think It’s You’, with the sound of House, with some darker atmospheres, mysterious filtered voices, and a catchy rhythm for the dance floor. Track that is accompanying by a remix from Steve Murphy, signing a remix that reworks completely the original, with a sound more techno, adds strength and energy, sounds and rhythms more raw and heavy.
