The Canadian label My Favorite Robot Records, for this December the label has a very pleasant surprise , the vinyl edition months before publication of the digital edition of the new tracks by Pink Skull (Julian Grefe , Justin Geller & Joe Lentini) after publishing this year on labels like Throne of Blood or Days of Being Wild now reach My Favorite Robot Records with this mini-lp consists of 6 tracks, uncompromising , pure analog sound is what you find under the name of ‘Huitlacoche’, these 6 excellent compositions, which for the recording thereof are locked in the recording studio with synthesizers in order to create these tracks. Opening the 12″ with ‘Huitlacoche’ and steadily, repetitive beats and cosmic-spacy synths effects that mesmerize us and transported to the analog world of Pink Skull , ‘Trans Gender Express’ continues with powerful and strong bass and synthesizers that most environmental above, generating a voltage and environmental darkness, all with some arrangements of acid; deep and melodic in ‘Perfect Suites’, almost 4 wonderful minutes of soundscape, and penetrate with ‘Ryryryry’ in faster and staccato rhythms, something more experimental, ‘Mutant Comfort’ (track free download via XLR8R), perfect for the dance floor, with a catchy and light touches of acid rhythms and close with the environmental and captivating ‘Burmese Engines’ blending synthesizers with almost industrial sounds.
