FenixFire’s spectacular new EP lands, and it does so with ACID DEVIANT ABBERANT. In it he takes us on a journey full of eclectic and forceful sounds, through various artists who are consolidating both their sound such as Pakrac, VV303, Jack Matthew Tyson and Xerosorex.
On the album we find the track LSD 4U & E explains in 4 stages what Pakrac’s acid music is about. It is followed by the track VV303 has put his Dirty Roland on the table to make, in his unique way, an ACID track ebm going strong. Evocative and deep trance. It is followed by the track Diehard Ultranut is a softer focus on this EP by Jack Matthew Tyson. It is as fun as it is aggressive in composition. Lastly, the Xerosorex track Psychic Control is like the reaction to a trip gone completely wrong, or at least it gives those chills. But it is unique and singular!
Altogether, this album is as experimental as it is intense and addictive, it takes over oneself like sweet poison, while progressively transporting us, as few producers with a certain fluidity are willing to do. We do not know what the future holds, but we do know that this record is testimony to a turbulent and uncertain present, which will remain in our memory forever. Through labels like this, we can continue to fight for a better future.
