VA – Wilde Freiheit Compilation [Wilde Label] (2015)

0

In celebration of 25 years since the Berlin Wall came down, Wilde Label brings you it’s third release – WILDE FREIHEIT!

Once again, we will be showcasing a wide range of musical styles from deep house to techno, presenting Wilde artists and friends, old and new…without borders and without limits!

Some producers and djs of Wilde

Pilocka Krach
Madame Krach collects noises as bees honey. Trendsetting blind she follows the path-breaking sound carpet of her intuition. Bacchanal “hit the pot” arias and cadenced twitters have a premonition of the relation to punk and roger withaker, but to feel out it – not at all.

DIA
Originally from California, and based in Barcelona; Dia is founder and manager of the labels Vinyl Did It, Twelveinchesoflove, and WIP. Dia is also the owner/founder of Barcelona event venue and event promoting agency WIP, and co-founder and resident of the Werk It weekly also in Barcelona. Her productions are influenced by 80?s synth pop and early electronic music with a predilection for Chicago house beats, prominent basslines, and piano riffs rooted in her classical training.

Lewis Boardman
Long serving resident dj and co promoter of Liverpool’s world renowned “Circus” events, Lewis Boardman makes his debut on Yousef’s record label that runs parallel to the club, “Circus Recordings”. Now a go to for the worlds best electronic artists with huge support from Marco Carola, Reboot, Carl Cox, Maya Jane Coles, DJ Sneak, Visionquest and many more. Lewis’ last EP is 2 slices of tricky electronica which see’s him gently move toward a slightly tougher route yet still maintaining the slender groove that is he best known for. Remixes come from Circus Recordings label mates “Doomwork” and “Yost Koen”.

Daniel Dexter
is a producer, DJ and labelowner. He’s been living in Berlin for a few years now and one can call him a jack-of-all-trades. He releases on Steve Bug´s label Poker Flat Recordings as well as Semester Musik and Andre Crom’s OFF Recordings. His love is devoted to reduced House, Chicagohouse and Detroittechno.

Sierra Sam
Discovered he could make music on his own with a sampler and computer, leading to his first self-produced vinyl with 6th Sense Approach in 1995. Over the next decade, he would release on a variety of labels like Re-load, Pure Plastic, Access 58, R&S, Teknotika and Trapez. During those years, Sammy started playing live gigs and promoting parties, once inviting Suburban Knight (Underground Resistance) to Belgium. A strong brotherhood started between the two, and Sammy helped the Detroit legend to set up a live act and toured with him. When Peacefrog offered the Knight an album deal, he invited Sammy to co-produce.

The Jaydes
Are based in Berlin and is comprised of two friends and studio partners – Bloody Mary & Attan. Their first remix of Anaxander’s EP “7 Ways“ on Dame-Music was a good introduction to their album, and now “Step On Light“ (Dame-Music 022) is a hint on what is forthcoming. The album “The Jaydes”, due in February 2014 will include nine tracks and some serious featuring artists. Their live act uses analog studio machines as their production. Keep your ear to the ground as you will be hearing a lot from The Jaydes.

Atapy
Arpi Takacs is the man behind the rising name Atapy, but lets not speed things up when it comes to this guy. To compensate for this young age (born in 86), Atapy’s addiction to electronic music started early, first as a regular freak in club corners and then behind the booth, testing his dj skills. One of his biggest steps was a collaboration between him and Noir, with a single called Never Fade Back included on Full Body Workout Vol. 9 the annual compilation, released on the Berlin based imprint Get Physical alongside artists like DJ T, Audiojack, Blond:ish, Simon Baker and Martin Buttrich.

Acid Washed
associated with the Paris-based Record Makers label, French electro duo Acid Washed made their commercial recording debut in 2009. Comprised of Richard d’Alpert and Andrew Claristidge and based in Paris, the duo cites influences that include Chicago house and Detroit techno as well as Giorgio Moroder and Death from Above. Upon signing with Record Makers, Acid Washed made their commercial recording debut with the General Motors, Detroit, America/Snake EP in 2009. The title tracks were later featured on the duo’s eponymous album debut, Acid Washed (2010). In addition to their production output, Acid Washed did a variety of remix work for Sébastien Tellier, Eliza Doolittle, and others.

Rafael Da Cruz
Eduardo Rafael Da Cruz Ferreira – editor of the magazine FAZEmag – early devoted himself to electronic music. Through his graceful and melancholic interpretation of deep house he quickly made a name for himself in numerous clubs from Cologne to Berlin, and at festivals such as PollerWiesen, RaveOnSnow, Utopia Island and Nature One. With “Right To Love” he started running his own night in Cologne, which presents acts like Ten Walls, Maceo Plex, Mario Basanov, Deniz Kurtel, Miguel Campbell, H.O.S.H. and PillowTalk in the well known and undisputed best club in town called Gewölbe.
