An interview with Co-Accused

Producing DJs and Co-Accused are longtime residents of the legendary underground club Club 69, and now they bring us a set to announce their new album: «Psychonaut Society», on their techno and electro label, Co-Accused Records. The album comes with a remix of the great Jensen Interceptor.

We have had the pleasure of talking with them about their latest work and future projects.

Hi guys! How has the day been or is it going? Something to highlight?

It’s been a chilled Sunday. Long lie in bed then went to our friends Ivan & Emily’s Cafe 77 in Paisley for lunch. The food & coffee were amazing.

How has the creation of your next album been in a situation as complicated as the one we are experiencing?

We started the EP just before the first lockdown. With not being able to go anywhere, we used the time wisely and Psychonaut Society was born

Do you think we will be back soon to enjoy the live performances?

We’re feeling optimistic about it. Hopefully by the summer festivals will open with the clubs not too far behind

How would you define the musical concept of «Psychonuat Society»?How was it born?

Space travel inner & outer

What did you want to convey on this EP? And what would you like to convey in the next one?

We wanted to share electro & techno Co-Accused style. The next one will feature some artists we love and will continue to push both genres

How would you define your sound? How has it evolved since you started?

Spacey, energetic & dance floor orientated.

Where do you think your music is headed?

Outer space and dance floors when we’re reunited on them 🙂

What are your next releases?

We have a VA lined up and another Co-Accused project later in the year.
