Raver’s Diary returns to Kepler Live Records for its 16th release and first this year. Not only his album, it is more about interpretations, perspectives of different artists culminating in a nickname «Adivinha o Que É» – «Guess what it is».
And it is about guessing, it is about interpretations and visions, a journey to a landscape outside the box.
We have had the pleasure of chatting with its creators, and this has been the result.
Can you tell us a bit about your experience? Where are you from / how did you get into music? Was it all internet based?
I got into music when I was 15 and my dad offered me my first synthesizer.
Who have been your main inspirations (both musically and in «life»)? And how have they affected your sound?

How has your sound evolved so far?
I started producing distorted/industrial techno and after some years of refining my sound, I am more into a positive vibe of music and its where it feels like home.
What can you tell us about your last job? What inspired you? What do you want to transmit?
I am a Manager, corporate life. I am inspired mainly by life situations to express myself with music, even though people associate Techno with abstract music.
What can you tell us about each song that makes up your latest work? What is hidden behind?
Everything is about life situations transposed into music. This work is Adivinha O Que É or in English «Guess What It Is» is about my struggles into fit into music boxes, like Dub, Industrial, Hypnotic, etc. I feel that my music is what I want to express, and not this or that box.
How are you living the current situation due to COVID? Has your work affected you a lot? Do you think there is hope? I feel like the underground scene will continue to persist.
It was a great opportunity to produce but mainly to improve my technical skills in productions, mainly I’ve moved from a super industrial distorted sound to a fast paced groovy style.
